Oh, so quiet!
I am still stitching, but I have not been posting a much lately. The posts got a little redundant.
Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, begins at sunset tonight. I am prepared for the fast, but not being able to drink water for twenty-five hours is much harder than not eating. There are other restrictions, such as no lip balm and no bathing, but it is only one day…and an important one. The older I get, the more difficult it becomes, but this is the one holiday I have always tried to observe. Religion is complicated.
