The Needlefelting Class is a Go!
I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching a needlefelting class at “P” is for Primitive on the square in Canton on March 1, 2008! It will be a project class, we will be needlefelting small jointed rabbits. I will supply the roving and embroidery thread, Lisanne will supply a needlefelting starter kit. The class will also include lunch, but I will wait for Lisanne to set all the details. There has been enough interest that we are considering doing a second or different class!
This is the project, although I think we will be doing white and pink rabbits (like I used in my ROC Day demonstration) in class:
When the weather is better and there is some decent natural light, I will try to get a decent photo of the white rabbit that I worked on at ROC Day.

I love the rabbit! Any chance of written instructions or – better yet – a correspondence class? I’m a sucker for bunnies and he’s so cute! I really need to learn to make needle felted critters because I don’t think I’ve ever seen one I didn’t want.
Condolences from all of my household on Omar’s death. He seems like a sweet kitty.
Oh that is so adorable! Love the tiny details on the feet and the belly. I want to make one now.. darn. It’s a long way to the class…
I’m sorry to hear about Omar. How sad. Hugs to you Rissa.
Oh, very cute! Good luck with the class.
Ooh, it’s too bad I don’t live in your area. This is great! I’m also voting for a cyber class or written instructions
On another note, please add my condolences to the rest. It’s always hard to lose one of our furry friends.
Very cute rabbit. I’m sure that your class will be a lot of fun…too bad I don’t live closer
That is so wonderful! I am so happy you are going to be teaching the needlefelting class. Just the first of many classes you will teach, I am positive!

Rissa, I absolutely love your bunny. When my sister was little she had a little bunny made out of old suiting and things. She loved that bunny and he was called Harvey. All things being equal she married a man called Harvey. My first boy friend was called, you guessed it Harvey.
Anyway, sorry about the epistle, he is just fabulous.

Oh he is so cute… thanks for the award!
