I found your site looking for Bellydance in MS. I have been in MS for 2 years now…. I saw the girls on the street on night in Fondrun and loved them…. How is it??? I am really thinking about getting into a class. I have always wanted to.
Later Tonya.
I have bookmarked your page! Looks like you have loads of fun! Glad you had fun in Atlanta! I moved from there
Hey there,
I am interested in purchasing some of the beautifully dyed rovings, fleece, etc….to use for needlefelting. Would you consider selling me small quantities of 2oz of some of your beautiful stash?? Do you have a website? Hope to hear from you!
Peace,
Stephanie
Hey there,
It’s me again
) I read how you have used the Dylon Fabric dye. I want to use very small amounts of the dye powder at a time. Can you give me any idea of much to use, 1 teaspoon to how much salt??, for example….
I want to dyed some rayon seam tapes and other small amounts of trims…I guess I could pour all the powder from one package and measure it to break down the ratio of powder to salt needed….Hope you have some suggestions.

I am looking for someone to teach me to spin in S Mississippi. I have the wheel. Husband bought it for my birthday.
So, where do I find spinners who teach?
Hi Rissa, I was shopping on Ebay yet again, saw this dachshound thread holder that you may or may not be able to resist! 130157678339
Just thought you would like to check it out.
Hello, thank you for your interesting site.
I came across it because some guests from Singapore promised to send me a punch needle. I tried to describe it from memories of my childhood in their country and vividly remember an old soldier embroidering wonderful scenes of tigers, where he would make loops then cut them to form a velvet of colour. I have been sent the needles, (I checked your pictures) but I think the main base which the needle drops into, is missing. Could you tell me if I am on the right track? Possibly by searching the web I can find where to buy the complete needle set, but you may be able to advise. Thanks so much and appreciate your time if you can help. Kind regards Vivienne Fletcher.
Hi, Just looked at your projects, Just love the Winter Morning Aghan. If this a pattern that can be shared? If not can you tell me what book of leaflet you found this pattern?
Thanks,
Carol
Your website Rissa’s Pieces is incredible. My quilting bee is planning a huge group project and the info I am finding is amazing. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to further explore the site and your blog.
That’s my Rissa!!! A bellyring???? and you left that out of our conversations!!!
Cheers my friend

I have a quick question, I googled knit teachers in Mississippi and your website came up. Do you teach knitting? If not, do you know anyone that does teach knitting? I am a beginner and just need some hands-on help. I live in Cleveland, MS but am willing to drive to just about anywhere.
Thanks so much!!
Amy B
I like your articles and your needle work. What are you doing now?
Hi,
I apologize for not addressing you by name – it may be Rissa – but I can’t tell from your blog – I’m not really very good at figuring them (blogs) out . . .
I wonder if you would tell me if you don’t mind, how much you paid for the Ashford Elizabeth spinning wheel you bought second hand. I am considering selling mine but I have no idea what to ask. Do you enjoy spinning on her?
Thank you very much!
Elizabeth in Ohio
Do you teach ribbon embroidery?
Rissa,
In reading your blog, I noticed you were over TN Valley Embroiders (may not be correct name). I live 30 miles NW of Chattanooga and would like any information on any guilds, organizations or who I need to contact with embroidery workers, crazy quilters.
Thank you so much for your assistance. I really enjoy your blog and your work is beautiful.
